The Institute of International Education provides the registration and visa for foreign students.

REGISTRATION IN MOSCOW

​

All students, trainees and post-graduate students who are citizens of foreign countries must register in Moscow not later than 7 days after crossing the border of the Russian Federation.

 

For students living in our dormitories, the International Relations Department facilitates registration of the Federal Migration Service of the Russian Federation. 

 

For new registrations, the following documents should be submitted:

1. Copy of the passport

2. Copy of migration card

3. Copy of the current visa

4. Copy of previous registration

5. Copy of the current health insurance policy

Documents are accepted only within 3 working days after every crossing the Russian borders, and to renew the registration, 10 working days before the expiry of the valid registration.

​

Registration is made according to the availability of a valid health insurance policy for a foreign citizen.

Documents must be submitted to the Institute of International Education.

VISA SUPPORT

​

The Institute of International Education provides assistance in extending the visa for foreign students.

​

For visa renewal, the following documents should be submitted:

1. 2 copies of the passport

2. 2 copies of migration card

3. Copy of valid registration

4. Copy of valid visa

5. Receipt of payment of the visa fees /1600 Rubles/

6. Copy of the valid Health Insurance Policy

7. 2 photos / size 3x4

Documents are accepted, one month before the expiry of the valid visa.

 

​Visa renewal is made according to the availability of a valid health insurance policy for foreign students.

Documents must be submitted to the Institute of International Education.

INVITATION PROCESS 

The Institute of International Education assists in obtaining an invitation for issuing an entry visa for all foreigner applicants.

The invitation is issued in the units of the Federal Migration Service of the Russian Federation, and it can take up

to 45 days.

To issue an invitation, the following documents should be submitted in advance to the Institute of International Education or sent by mail to: ir.dept@mail.ru:

1. Filled Online Application

2. Copy of the passport ( P. 1 & 2 )

Issuing of invitations is made only after paying 20% of the annual fee depending on what each student is going to study.

 

For foreign students who have already a Student Visa, and want to be transferred to our University, 50% of the annual fee should be paid, depending on what each student is going to study.
