Preparatory Course Departement
Foreign students who would like to obtain their Bachelor's, Master's or Postgraduate Degree in Russia are provided with a one-year course designed to prepare them for the entry into Russian Universities.
The aim of the preparatory course is to provide our foreign students the required training programs to give them the ability of obtaining their education.
Learning objectives:

Developing communicative competence in Russian by involving skills in reading, listening, writing and speaking.

Acquiring the knowledge of language features and skills in the chosen fields of studies.

Improving the general necessary knowledge of the chosen program and developing Russian speaking skills in preferential research fields;

Assist our foreign students to be adapted in the socio-cultural side of their new intercultural environment;

Introduce the national customs and traditions of Russia to our foreign students, and helping them understanding Russian communication style and improve their intercultural competences.

Our Preparatory Course Department offers for all foreign students a Pre-University training in all specializations:
(Medicine, Pharmacology, Engineering, Design & Humanities)
The education program includes (One Academic Year):
- General Russian Language Course and specialized Russian Language Course (it depends on the chosen specialization).
- Adaptation subjects: Socio-cultural workshops, intercultural communication and Russian communicative style.
- Specialization courses (Social studies, History and Russian Literature for the Humanities & Design specializations /
Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Information Technology for the Medicine, Pharmacology, Engineering
The academic year starts on the 1st of September till the 15th of October. It depends on the arrival of
students and according to that, we are setting up and forming the groups.
Education Process
The duration of the preparatory course is 9 months / 2 semesters, 5-6 days a week with 6-8 classes a day.
(1 class = 45 min) and each group consists of 8 - 10 students.
Upon successful completion of the preparatory course (for undergraduate, postgraduate studies, General Russian) students are awarded a certificate.
Our teachers are experienced and highly skilled to conduct classes of all Russian Language Level; starting by students who have
no knowledge of Russian language to the ones with a good practical knowledge, and who only need a remedial course.
Studies are based on the latest textbooks and modern interactive methods of teaching Russian Language.
Preparatory Course Fees / 2017-2018 /
University fees / 148,800 Rubles.
Health Insurance / 6500 Rubles per year.
Visa fees for 1 year / 1600 Rubles.
Dormitory / 907 Rubles per month.
To study on a charge-free basis you should take part in the competition to get the governmental scholarship of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation. Registration takes place at http://russia.study/

Notarized translation of the passport (Russian Notary)

Clear scanned copy of the High School Certificate, for students who are going to apply for a Bachelor Degree Program with a notarized Russian translation.

Clear scanned copy of the High School Certificate and the Bachelor Certificate with all grades for students who are going to apply for a Master Degree Program with a notarized Russian translation.
